The Belfast cruise ship terminal is located at Stormont Wharf and has berthing facilities for the largest liners. There are two docks, Pollock Dock and Belfast Cruise Ship Terminal. Both docks have a total length of 177m (580ft). Stormont is primarily used by larger liners and has a sheltered pier. Pollock Dock has a wharf with no protection for yachts, however, it can be used as an alternative to Stormont Dock if needed.
The port is located on the Lagan River, which empties into the Irish Sea. The port handles over 150,000 passengers per year. The port’s harbour area is over 20% of the city’s total area. Its deepwater quay is Ireland’s longest.

Belfast Cruise Terminal is located 2 miles / 3 km from Belfast City Centre (direction north-east). Look out for a shuttle bus to get you to the city in around 17 minutes. The Visit Belfast Welcome Centre provides all the necessary assistance for tourists, including information on how to save money on museums and attractions like the Titanic Museum.
There is also a Taxi rank at the Belfast Cruise Terminal in which you can take a short ride to the Titanic Museum and also City Centre.

Yes, generally. Belfast city has shuttle buses that run frequently between the cruise terminal and the big Visit Belfast Welcome Centre right across the street from City Hall. But it’s up to the cruise companies to decide if they’ll charge guests for the shuttle service. The Belfast cruise terminal has a lot of helpful information for visitors and a nice shop where you can buy all sorts of things, from yummy food to thick, cozy Irish wool socks.
