The Dark Hedges, King’s Road: Visit the Dark Hedges, one of Northern Ireland’s most photographed natural phenomena. Planted by the Stuart family in the 18th century, these majestic beech trees formed the iconic King’s Road seen in Season 2 of Game of Thrones. Read our Dark Hedges guide.

Dunluce Castle, House of Greyjoy: Next, we stop for a photo opportunity at Dunluce Castle, one of the most dramatic castle ruins in the world. Perched on cliff edges, it served as the home of House Greyjoy in Game of Thrones. Read our Dunluce Castle guide.

Giant’s Causeway: Continue along the Antrim Coast with stunning views of White Park Bay and Portbradden, arriving at the Giant’s Causeway. Explore the 40,000 basalt columns, whose unique formations inspired the legend of Finn McCool, the giant who supposedly built the stepping stones to Scotland. Lunch Stop, Bushmills Village: Bushmills Village offers several choices, from a local fish and chip shop and sandwich shops to cafés and restaurants where you can sit down for lunch. For a restaurant meal, we recommend the Bushmills Inn, which must be booked in advance. Please note that lunch is not included.

White Park Bay: White Park Bay is one of the finest beaches in Ireland, a wide crescent of white sand flanked by chalk cliffs, with the open Atlantic in front and Scotland visible on a clear day just 20 miles across the water. We stop at the viewpoint above the beach for photographs.

Ballintoy Harbour, Iron Islands: This small fishing harbour was used for the Iron Islands in Game of Thrones. It is where Theon Greyjoy returns home and first meets his sister Yara in Season 2.

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge: Suspended 30 metres above the sea, the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge connects the mainland to a small rocky island that salmon fishermen have crossed for more than 270 years. We stop at the clifftop viewing point for photographs. Crossing is not included on this tour.

Return to Belfast: After the rope bridge viewpoint, we leave the coast and drive back to Belfast for the second part of the day, the Belfast city tour.
