Please read these terms conditions carefully. By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below. These terms conditions are subject to change without notice, from time to time at our sole discretion. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not access this website.
Passengers are responsible for ensuring sufficient time between the start and end of tours and events and their other travel arrangements times.
Due to circumstances beyond control such as inclement weather sites may be closed or inaccessible. The itinerary and timings are subject to change.
Belfast Tours NI are not responsible if any of our Tour attractions are closed due to extreme weather.
A ‘package’ is a pre-arranged combination of at least three travel services. Examples are accommodation, tours and ticket purchase. We cannot be made responsible for any additional services that have NOT been purchased through Belfast Tours NI.
Belfast Tours NI accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express. We take payments online through our invoice. For online payments, we will email you an invoice that you can click on to pay now via the secure online system.
Our working hours are 0900 to 1700 Monday to Friday, and we are on GMT time. Alternatively, let us know a contact number & a convenient time to contact you and we will phone you.
Credit Card Booking Fees are included in the tour price. All credit card transactions are handled securely via Stripe.
Please note that deposits are required within 3 days of making the reservation and are non-refundable.
Full payment must be made no later than 30 days prior to your arrival in Northern Ireland. Belfast Tours NI accepts payment by Visa, Mastercard & American Express. If the final payment is not received as scheduled, your reservation will be automatically cancelled, and your deposit payment forfeited.
There are no fees for name changes. If you require a room type change from double to twin or vice versa, there are no fees, but it is subject to availability.
Changing to a different tour date is possible 60 or more days before your holiday start date, and if the new tour has availability. There are no administration fees, but you would have to pay the difference if the new dates are more expensive. It is not possible to change the dates of your holiday within 60 days of the start date.
All travel services are subject to availability at the point of payment of a 25% non-refundable tour design, booking and set-up fee. We reserve the right to refuse to proceed with any booking at any time for any reason. Once the contract is made between us, we will use skill and care to perform our obligations to you.
Where your booking is for more than one person, the first-named person in your party aged eighteen years or over will be treated by us as the ‘lead name’ for your booking. The lead (or Agent) name will be responsible for making all payments due to us following our contract. We will treat your completion of our Booking Form as confirmation that you have read, understood, and accepted all of our Terms and Conditions.
We offer flexibility for our multi-day tours. Unlimited changes may be made up to 30 days prior to the tour start date, subject to availability.
All amendment requests must be made in writing. Where an amendment is possible, a £50 administration fee per booking may apply, together with any additional costs incurred.
All cancellations must be made in writing and are effective from the date received by Belfast Tours NI.
A 25% non-refundable tour design, booking and set-up fee is required to secure your services. This fee covers itinerary planning, quotations, administration and associated preparation work. Any tickets requiring immediate purchase are also non-refundable.
The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before arrival.
In exceptional circumstances, we may, at our discretion, apply the non-refundable tour design and set-up fee toward a future booking.
If cancellation or amendment occurs within 30 days of the travel date, only recoverable amounts (if any) will be refunded. In most cases, no recoverable amounts will be available at this stage.
60 days or more before the tour start date: The deposit is non-refundable. Any balance paid will be refunded.
30–59 days before the tour start date: 50% of the total amount paid will be refunded.
1–29 days before the tour start date: No refund applies.
Pre-booked tickets for events, attractions and accommodation are strictly non-refundable.
Please note that booking fees and credit card transaction fees are non-refundable.
60 days or more before the hire date: The deposit is non-refundable. Unlimited changes may be made free of charge prior to 60 days, subject to availability.
30–59 days before the hire date: 50% of the total amount paid will be refunded.
1–29 days before the hire date: No refund applies.
Failure to appear at the designated pick-up time and location will result in all monies paid being non-refundable.
Pre-booked tickets for events, attractions, accommodation, airport transfers and coach transfer services are strictly non-refundable.
All refunds, including refunds of overpayment, are processed to the credit/debit card(s) originally used for payment (less 5% card charges).
We hope this section helps clarify any questions you may have about under what circumstances we would cancel a tour.
We reserve the right to change our typical itineraries at any time and our discretion. As professionals, we will endeavour to avoid this; if necessary, we will substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value.
Once your booking has been confirmed, we will make every effort to provide you with the booked arrangements but reserve the right to alter or cancel the whole or part of the tour in the event of happenings outside the control of Belfast Tours NI.
Reasons for doing so may include but shall not be limited to such force majeure matters as extreme adverse local weather conditions or weather warnings, natural disasters, civil strikes or conflict, terrorist activity, fire, flood conditions, and similar. No compensation will be paid for force majeure cancellations.
We are constantly striving to make our tours even more brilliant than they are perceived by many to be, therefore should attractions open or become open to us, that we feel will enhance your experience of our beloved motherland, then we reserve the right to include these in your best interests.
We reserve the right to decrease the price of our tours at any time.
We reserve the right to contract quality private motor coaches to assist us in carrying passengers and the right to contract the whole tour to another tour company that has the same quality as Belfast Tours NI.
We reserve the right to launch amended brochures in the public domain at any time.
Belfast Tours NI does not sell Travel Insurance. Belfast Tours NI requires that all passengers have travel insurance.
Hotel arrangements on Our Escorted Tours of Northern Ireland are provided as described in each tour program. Belfast Tours NI reserves the right to substitute hotels for accommodations in similar categories.
Belfast Tours NI reserves the right to substitute visits/attractions and other features when establishments are closed or cannot be visited for reasons beyond our control.
On certain dates, including but not limited to religious holidays and national celebrations, some monuments and sites may be closed. On these occasions, touring itineraries may be amended to reflect these closures.
Occasionally, during holidays and certain periods, and/or due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather conditions, there may be last-minute changes, sometimes after arrival in Northern Ireland, affecting the tour sequence and locations visited. In such cases, there will be no cost adjustment.
National monuments and tourist sites regularly undergo renovations, which can obscure the monument’s view. No tour will be cancelled due to renovations, and, in such cases, there will be no cost adjustment. However, Belfast Tours NI will decide based on the conditions whether to amend an itinerary.
Handling (Porterage) of one large piece of luggage per person is included in the cost of Our Escorted Tours. One piece of carry-on luggage is also permitted per person (without porterage). Luggage is carried at the owner’s risk throughout the tour unless insured. Hand baggage and personal items such as coats, cell phones, umbrellas and cameras are entirely in the care of the participants.
Gratuities for personal services and to Driver-Guides are not included in the tour cost.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in our Vehicles. However frequent stops are made throughout the day. Smoking Rooms are available in some hotels but the request for such a room must be made at the time of booking and a smoking room cannot be guaranteed.
All items of a personal nature (room service, dinner, drinks except tea /coffee with breakfast. and lunches not specified on the tour itinerary are not included and must be paid for by the participant, and Please note our tours do not include entrance fees to attractions.
Clients must comply with the laws of the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom while travelling with Belfast Tours NI. Guests are expected to respect local customs and regulations at all times.
It is a condition of booking that you follow the instructions and authority of your appointed Belfast Tours NI driver or guide. In the interest of safety and the comfort of all passengers, we reserve the right to refuse carriage or remove any passenger whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate. In such circumstances, no refund or compensation will be payable.
Passengers must arrive at agreed departure points on time. Due to the nature of tour operations, we cannot delay departures for late arrivals. Tours will not wait longer than 10 minutes beyond the scheduled departure time. Any guest who misses departure will not be entitled to a refund or compensation.
Belfast Tours NI is not responsible for missed connections resulting from delays beyond our control. While we endeavour to operate to schedule, timings cannot be guaranteed.
We reserve the right to refuse carriage to any passenger who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or whose behaviour poses a risk to the driver, vehicle, or other passengers.
Personal belongings are carried at the owner’s risk. Belfast Tours NI accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property. If items are left in a vehicle, we will assist with their return; however, postage or courier costs must be covered by the client.
In the highly unlikely event that you may wish to make a formal complaint against Belfast Tours NI, please inform the Belfast Tours NI Tours driver /representative at the time. If the matter cannot be resolved immediately or during your trip after the driver/ representative’s best endeavours to do so, your complaint should be made in writing to Belfast Tours NI as soon as is reasonably possible after the holiday, but within 30 days thereof so that your complaint can be investigated. Belfast Tours NI will not consider any claims after 30 days. You will be assured of respect and courtesy whilst your complaint is being dealt with. Contact us.
Under no circumstances can we be held responsible for weather conditions. No ticket can be cancelled or amended by you at any time based on weather conditions. We accept no responsibility for weather conditions that may affect the delivery and implementation of our itinerary. There will be no refunds for any activities that are cancelled due to weather or other circumstances outside our control.
Data Protection
Belfast Tours NI handles personal data in accordance with UK Data Protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

The participant is responsible for all travel arrangements and costs to/from the point of commencement/conclusion of the tour. It is the full responsibility of the participant to check the accuracy of the dates booked upon receipt of their travel documents. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure they have a valid passport and all visas if required.
Belfast Tours NI is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage or other loss a passenger incurs on any tour arising from acts or omissions by any air carrier, public transport company, hotel, car rental company, subcontractor or other person or organisation, whether or not a such company is rendering any services supplied on the tour.
Without limitation, Belfast Tours NI is not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damage, injury, death, loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity of any kind which may be occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond its control, including, without limitation any wilful or negligent act, failure to act, breach of contract or violation of local law or regulation of any third party such as an airline, train, hotel, bus, taxi, van, local ground handler or guide, financial default or insolvency of any supplier and/or restaurant which is, too, or does supply any goods or services for this trip.
Belfast Tours NI is not liable for any loss, injury, death or inconvenience due to delay or changes in schedule, overbooking of accommodation, the default of any third party, attacks by animals, sickness, the lack of appropriate medical care, evacuation to same, if necessary, weather, strikes, acts of God or government, acts of terrorism, or the threat thereof, force majeure, war, quarantine, epidemics, or the threat thereof, criminal activity, or any other cause beyond its control.
Belfast Tours NI reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter the itinerary as it may deem necessary or advisable. Belfast Tours NI reserves the right at its sole discretion to decline to accept or retain any passenger on any of its tours if it deems accepting or retaining any such person as being detrimental to the tour. In the event any passenger is removed from a trip, Belfast Tours NI’s only obligation is to refund to that person that portion of the payment allocable to unused services.
Any disclaimer of liability by Belfast Tours NI under this clause is enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Each of the provisions of this clause is severable and if any such provision is held by any court or other competent authority to be illegal, void, or unenforceable in whole or in part, the legality, validity, and enforceability of the remaining provisions of this clause shall not be affected or impaired. Changes in the RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE can be made only in writing and signed by a director of Belfast Tours NI.
Belfast Tours NI accepts no responsibility for losses or expenses due to delays or changes in schedules, flight cancellations or misconnections due to mechanical problems, sickness, quarantine, weather, acts of God, strikes, government actions, war, terrorism, or other circumstances beyond its control. Participants must bear all such losses or expenses.
To guard against unforeseen circumstances, we insist you travel with comprehensive travel insurance which must be purchased at home before travelling on tour with Belfast Tours NI.
Should you miss the arranged pick-up of your tour, for any reason, Belfast Tours NI will gladly arrange a transfer for you. This will allow you to catch up with your tour guide and fellow travellers. Please note, this transfer will have to be paid, in full, by you. There are no refunds or exchanges available for any sections of the tour that you may have missed out on due to having not made the arranged pick-up.
