A wonderful day tour of Belfast
My family of 7 with young kids booked a private full day tour of Belfast with Murat at Belfast Tours NI, and the whole experience was truly exceptional. Our cruise ship had unexpectedly updated our itinerary to arrive in Belfast, Ireland due to inclement weather and I was able to conveniently and easily complete my booking online with Murat within a day and a half of our arrival. My experience with his prompt and clear communication turned a stressful change of plans into the highlight of our entire trip. From the very first moment, Murat was engaging, incredibly friendly, and went above and beyond to keep us comfortable and perfectly on schedule. He has a deep, passionate knowledge of Belfast’s history and all the attractions we visited. He arrived early to pick us up, communicated well, kept us apprised of where we were going to next, never rushed us, ensured we had ample time to walk through, explore, and really absorb the stories of locations we stopped at such as Antrim Coast, Bushmill village, Giant’s Causeway, Dunluc castle, and the Dark Hedges.
What truly sets Murat apart, however, is his incredible thoughtfulness, preparedness, and service that exceeded expectations. Early in the tour, my son began suffering from severe motion sickness that had carried over from our cruise ship. Before we could even panic, Murat calmly stepped in. He was unbelievably patient and perfectly prepared, immediately providing towels, wet wipes, and cold water from his van to help us clean up and get my son comfortable. He completely turned what could have been a disaster into a manageable, reassuring moment.On top of being a lifesaver, he is a total natural with children and very sweet. Our kids absolutely adored his fun, cool, and warm personality. In fact, my 4-year-old daughter insisted on constantly holding “Uncle Murat’s” hand throughout the day! I could also tell by his interactions with the other locals that he has a genuine loving personality.
By the afternoon, it truly felt like we were being shown around town by a close relative rather than a tour guide. It was a memorable day filled with good conversation and amazing sights. We truly enjoyed our day in Belfast with its welcoming people and beautiful scenery. If you have the opportunity to visit Belfast, I highly recommend you book with Belfast Tours NI for a wonderful experience! Murat is the best!

Knowledgable guide & impressive views
We had an amazing day seeing the beautiful coast of Northern Ireland. Our guide, Francis, went above and beyond, sharing stories, history, and jokes throughout the day. Because he has lived in Norther Ireland his whole life, he was familiar with the entire area and had much knowledge to share.
The countryside was beautiful. Our favorite was the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. Even if you do not cross the bridge, the view of the cliffs is incredible (way more impressive than the Giants Causeway in our opinion). This was one of our favorite days of our trip!

Private giant Causeway tour from HAL Port
Fantastic Giant’s Causeway Tour with John Mullan – Highly Recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had an absolutely wonderful day touring the Giant’s Causeway from Belfast, and our driver, John Mullan, was truly exceptional. From the moment he picked us up at the port, he made us feel welcome, comfortable, and completely at ease.
John took us along the beautiful Antrim Coast Road, through Carnlough Village, and along the stunning Causeway coastline. We visited the Giant’s Causeway, saw the Old Bushmills Distillery, Dunluce Castle, and the Dark Hedges. Every stop was beautiful, and John shared great stories and information along the way without ever making us feel rushed.
What really stood out about John was how he went above and beyond to make our day special. We had two special requests, we were on a mission to find a unique bottle and a stuffy sheep to bring back to family. John went out of his way to help us find both! Those little extra efforts meant so much to us and made the day even more memorable.
John also had water waiting for us, kept us entertained with great conversation and plenty of laughs, and was so easy-going and accommodating throughout the entire day. He truly went the extra mile in every way.
We couldn’t have asked for a better driver or a better day. John was fantastic, and we would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Northern Ireland. If you’re lucky enough to have John as your driver, you’re in for a wonderful experience!

I really enjoyed the Game of Thrones tour. You didn’t have to watch the show to enjoy the sites (one person in our party never saw it). This company was very professional, responded promptly to all questions. I would 100% use them again if I am ever back in Belfast. We also booked a transfer (Belfast to Dublin). This too was very professional!

My group wanted a private day with a knowledgable driver that knew the area, knew the people and was willing to adjust on the fly if needed. We found that with Murat and Belfast Tours NI. We only had one day and we wanted to see all we could. From Belfast to the Giant Causeway and everything we could see in between. My group had a great day and saw A LOT. One thing that is clear… everyone seems to know Murat. Parking attendants, pub owners, restaurant staff…they are know him and this enhances the day. If in Belfast and want something better…contact Belfast Tours.

We contacted Murat directly 4 months prior to arriving in Northern Ireland. We were enquiring about a customised 2 day tour with each day a week apart where we would attend a wedding in a small village, a long way from Belfast and Dublin.
From the first contact Murat worked with us to accomodate our requests and despite the 2nd day being on the 11th Night, Murat delievered us safely back to Dublin before he had to return to Belfast.
Day 1, Murat collected us in Befast where we immediately felt his warm charistmatic way. Nothing was too much, despite the fact we had a 12 hour day in front of us and at least 8–9 hours of driving for him. We saw a lot of Northern Ireland including the Dark Hedges, Carrick-a-Rede, Giants Causeway, Bushmills and Dunluce Castle to name a few. Along the way Murat customised our day based on weather, proved very knowedgable as a tour guide and we got to know him well. When we arrived at out accommodation we were already looking forward to Day 2.
Day 2, Murat arrived with a smile and delivered us to our Dublin hotel without fuss. Along the way we enjoyed Newgrange, Knowth and the Hill of Tara.
What stood out for us in our planning, interactions and experience with Murat was easy communications, his knowledge not just of the sights and locations but also the people who work at the places we visited. This personal touch added greatly to our enjoyment and when we asked Murat for specific advice on culture, customs and souveniers he went out of his way to accommodate our questions and requests.
After 6 days in Northern Ireland and 15 in Italy we returned home and reflected that our time with Murat was the highlight of our travels.
Instead of hiring a vehicle, engage Murat – you will see more, travel in comfort and like us leave Northern Ireland with a new friend.
